Energie's thermodynamic solar water heater is a hybrid technology combining the best of solar thermal collection with the reliability of a heat pump. Unlike conventional solar panels that only work in direct sunlight, the thermodynamic panel absorbs energy from sunlight, rain, wind, humidity and ambient air. A patented refrigerant inside the panel boils at approximately −30 °C, so the system extracts usable heat even on cool, cloudy nights or during sandstorms — delivering hot water 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
