Technical Terms Explained

COP (Coefficient of Performance)
Ratio of heat-energy output to electricity-energy input. A COP of 4.5 means every 1 kWh of electricity delivers 4.5 kWh of heat. Higher is better.
SCOP (Seasonal COP)
The seasonal average COP measured over a full heating season under the EN 14825 standard. Includes part-load and ambient-temperature variation.
EN 16147 / EN 14511 / EN 14825
European testing standards for heat-pump water heaters and air-to-water heat pumps. Energie products are independently tested and certified to these standards.
A+++ Energy Class
